Part of the U R Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Palacio Avenida Urban is situated in the very heart of the historic
City of Palma de Mallorca. The hotel is a short 2 minute walk from the Parc de les Estacions and the terminus of
the Tren de Soller, and many of Palmas' other tourist attractions are also only a 10 minute walk away.
Tastefully converted in 2009 so as to retain many of the orginal features from the former "Cinema Avenida", the Hotel Palacio Avenida Urban has a total of 68 guest rooms, including 45 twin rooms, 14 singles, and a further 5 Suites, all of which are built over 9 floors. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, bathrobes and hairdryer, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television, complimentary high speed WiFi internet access and a mini bar. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week. Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned a la carte restaurant which specialises in Spanish cuisine as well as offering a selection of tapas, sushi and vegetarian dishes, public internet terminals with WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and a comfortable lounge bar. For business guests, the Hotel Palacio Avenida Urban also offers the use of 200 square meters of conference and meeting rooms, all of which are equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.
