Part of the Globales Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel Mediterrani is
situated around 50 metres from the beach in the popular resort of Cala Blanca on
the central west coast of Menorca. The hotel is approximately 47km west of the
capital Mahon and the International Aeropuerto de Menorca and around 4km south
of the historic City of Ciutadella.
Built in 1986 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2015, the modern Hotel Mediterrani has a total of 192 guest rooms, offering a choice of both twin and single rooms, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking the sandy Cala Blanca beach. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice each week. Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, laundry and medical services, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, a games room and both lounge and pool bars. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with a separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. The Hotel Mediterrani also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring volleyball and water polo, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
