Hotel Villamil - Paguera

Part of the Hesperia Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Villamil has an enviable front line location overlooking the wide sandy Palmira beach in the popular resort of Paguera on the south west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 30km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 250 metres from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1955 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2001, the modern low rise Hotel Villamil has a total of 125 guest rooms, including 12 single rooms, 100 doubles, 1 Suite and a further 12 Junior Suites, which are built over 3 floors, and set amidst almost 7,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Paguera.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either centrally heated or air conditioned according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have panoramic views across the bay. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with a choice of two air conditioned restaurants offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bar, public internet terminals, with complimentary WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Villamil also offers the use of two large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, with the capacity to seat up to 70 and 34 guests respectively, both of which are fully equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the bay which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a hard surface tennis court and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Villamil also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Beauty Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated pool with sauna, Jacuzzi and hair salon, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments including facial care with peeling, ampoules and masks, manicure and pedicure, full body massage and reflexology.

The Hotel Villamil also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment, with dancing to live music several times each week.
