The 3 star Hotel Tora is situated around 150 metres from the Playa Palmira
beach, in the popular resort of Paguera on the south west coast of Majorca. The
hotel is approximately 35km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan
International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort
where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.
Built in 1989 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2000, the modern low rise Hotel Tora has a total of 81 guest rooms, including 68 twin rooms and a further 13 singles, which are built over 3 floors and set amidst spacious sun terraces around a central pool area. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer include a reception area with currency exchange desk, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
