Part of the H S M Group of hotels, the 4 star Aparthotel Madrigal is situated around 150 metres from the Playa Tora beach, in a quiet area of the popular resort of Paguera on the south west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 35km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 300 metres from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1978 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2008, the modern low rise Aparthotel Madrigal has a total of 118 guest rooms, including 76 standard twin rooms and a further 42 one bedroom self catering apartments, all of which are built over 4 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, apartments on the complex also have a fully equipped kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, along with a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, and all guest rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, along with a mini golf course, a hard surface tennis court, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Aparthotel Madrigal also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Fitness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna and Jacuzzi, as well as offering a variety of other massage treatments.

Of special interest to cyclists, the Aparthotel Madrigal also has a specialist "Cyclist Corner", where guests will find all types of information relevant to cycling around the island, including maps, cartographic details of routes, routes of interest, weather forecasts, books and magazines specialising in environmental issues and other related themes, along with a specially adapted area for storing, maintaining and repairing bicycles, which is equipped with a selection of basic cleaning and repair tools.

The Aparthotel Madrigal also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
