Hotel Victoria Playa - Santo Tomas

Part of the Stil Group of hotels, the 3 star rated Hotel Victoria Playa has an enviable beach front location, in the quiet resort of Santo Tomas on the central southern coast of Menorca.

The hotel is approximately 25km west of the capital Mahon and the International Aeropuerto de Menorca airport, and 250 metres from the main resort centre where you will find a small selection of restaurants, bars and shops.

Built in 1987 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2014, the modern Hotel Victoria Playa has a total of 266 twin guest rooms that are built over 6 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the Santo Tomas and San Adeodato beaches.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with an integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces overlooking the sea which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Victoria Playa also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, provided each day as part of the Thomson Family Club programme, featuring team games, pool games and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
