Hotel Flora Mar - Cala Galdana

Part of the Comitas Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Floramar is situated around 250 metres from the beach in the quiet resort of Cala Galdana on the central south coast of Menorca. The hotel is approximately 35km west of the capital Mahon and the International Aeropuerto de Menorca airport, and 200 metres from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1995, the modern low rise Hotel Floramar has a total of 78 guest rooms, including 76 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and a further 2 studio flats, which are built over 4 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Cala Galdana.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with microwave oven, toaster and electric kettle, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a wide variety of dishes including vegetarian options, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, a small on-site supermarket, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Floramar also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, which is fully equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the bay which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a squash court, as well as a cardiovascular gymnasium and Jacuzzi.
