Hotel Tobago - Palma Nova

The 3 star Hotel Tobago has an enviable location perched high on the Torrenova headland overlooking the Son Matias beach, in the lively resort of Palma Nova on the south west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 20km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and around 200 metres from the centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife.

Built in 1972 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2006, the modern Hotel Tobago has a total of 274 guest rooms, including 198 standard twin rooms, 20 singles and a further 56 one bedroom self catering apartments, all of which are built over 9 floors, and set amidst almost 200m2 of sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens around a large central pool area overlooking the seafront promenade and magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, all guest rooms at the hotel are also provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with public internet terminals, a games room, laundry and medical services, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Hotel Tobago also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment, with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each a week.
