The 3 star rated Hotel Cala Romantica has an enviable location overlooking the picturesque Cala Mandía beach in a quiet residential area of the central east coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 65km east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 7km to the south of the resort of Porto Cristo where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

The modern low rise Hotel Cala Romantica has a total of 256 guest rooms, offering a choice of both standard double and family rooms, which are distributed between several 1 and 2 storey bungalows, and set amidst almost 25,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a ceiling fan, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a terrace or balcony, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a number of rooms at the Hotel Cala Romantica have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of two large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with separate children's pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, two hard surface tennis courts, a multi sports activity area for football and volleyball etc, a mini golf course, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Cala Romantica also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aqua aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
