Part of the prestigious Riu Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Riu Bravo is situated around 200 metres from the beach in the Ses Cadenes district of the lively resort of Playa de Palma on the central southern coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 12km east of the capital Palma, 5km south east of the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1978 and fully renovated during the winter of 1995, the modern low rise Hotel Riu Bravo has a total of 339 guest rooms, including 20 single rooms, 276 doubles, 34 Suites and a further 9 Junior Suites, all of which are distributed between two 5-storey buildings and set amidst 4,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, mini bar, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, Suites at the Hotel Riu Bravo also have a separate lounge area, and all guest rooms are provided with a daily maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests the Hotel Riu Bravo also offers the use of 3 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, all of which are equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids including a television and video.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large 140m2 outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Riu Bravo also offers guests access to the facilities of the Naturomed" Spa and Wellness Centre, where they can experience a variety of cosmetic and other beauty treatments, including a hairdresser and beauty salon, along with a 50m2 indoor heated swimming pool with gymnasium, sauna, steam bath and Jacuzzi.

The Hotel Riu Bravo also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
