The 4 star Aparthotel Ponent Mar is situated around 50 metres from the beach, in the quiet residential Son Caliu district of the otherwise lively resort of Palma Nova on the south west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 20km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and around 1km from the Palma Nova resort centre where you will find a wide selection of restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife.

Built in 1989 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern Aparthotel Ponent Mar has a total of 156 guest rooms, including 68 one bedroom self catering apartments and a further 88 studios flats, all of which are built over 6 floors and set amidst almost 11,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large 350m2 outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children’s section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Aparthotel Ponent Mar also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Beauty Centre, which features a smaller 60m2 iSolar heated indoor pool, open each year during the cooler winter months, along with two saunas, a well equipped cardiovascular gymnasium, and beauty salon offering guests a variety of cosmetic treatments including sports massage, facial, manicure and pedicures

The Aparthotel Ponent Mar also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring bowls, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
