Part of the Alua Group of hotels, the 3 star rated Hotel Barracuda is situated around 100 metres from the beach in one of the quieter areas of the otherwise lively resort of Magaluf on the south west coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 20km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and around 800 metres from the centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife.

Built in 1971 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2015, the modern Hotel Barracuda has a total of 260 guest rooms, which are built over 8 floors overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area area.

In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals with complimentary high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, a games room, and both lounge and poolside bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Hotel Barracuda also provides a seasonal programme of daytime activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, as well as pre-club parties with DJs several times each week.

Please be aware that the Hotel Barracuda is an "Adults Only" hotel, and is most suited towards younger couples and groups of friends looking for a lively holiday, and therefore is not be suitable for families, or those travelling with young children.
