Part of the Roc Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel Boccaccio is situated around 100 metres from the beach, in the popular resort of Alcudia on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1970 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2008, the modern low rise Hotel Boccaccio has a total of 214 guest rooms, offering a choice of both standard twin and single rooms, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, satellite television, fridge and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, public internet terminals, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes an outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with a separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

For fitness enthusiasts the Hotel Boccaccio also offers the use of a cardiovascular gymnasium with dressing rooms, showers and a sauna.

Of special interest to cyclists, the Hotel Boccaccio has a specially adapted area for the storing, maintaining and repairing bicycles, which is equipped with individual security fittings, as well as a selection of basic cleaning and repair tools.
