Hotel Blue Bay - Cala Mayor

The 3 star rated Hotel Blue Bay is situated around 500 metres from the beach in the resort of Cala Mayor on the central southern coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 15km west of the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 6km from the centre of the historic City of Palma, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1970 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2014, the modern Hotel Blue Bay has a total of 119 guest rooms, including 100 twin rooms and a further 19 singles, which are built over 8 floors and set amidst almost 3,200m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as laundry and medical services, a games room, public internet terminals, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Blue Bay also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
