Part of the Barcelo Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Barcelo Cala Vinas has an enviable location overlooking a small sheltered bay in the quiet resort of Cala Vinas on the south west coast of Majorca. Built in 1989 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2007, the modern low rise Hotel Barcelo Cala Vinas has a total of 326 guest rooms, including 282 Superior twin rooms and a further 44 Junior and Family Suites. all of which are built over 6 floors overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the sea.

In addition to the above features, Family Suites at the Hotel Barcelo Cala Vinas also have a lounge area with additional sofa beds, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

The Hotel Barcelo Cala Vinas also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
