Hotel Balear - C'an Pastilla

The 3 star Hotel Balear is situated around 250 metres from the Cala Estancia beach in the popular resort of C'an Pastilla on the central southern coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 10km east of the capital Palma, 2km south of the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1964 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2009, the modern Hotel Balear has a total of 54 guest rooms, including 34 twin rooms, 6 singles, 8 triples and a further 6 Family Suites, all of which are built over 5 floors.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, complimentary high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services and lounge bar.

Of special interest to cyclists, the Hotel Balear offers a specially adapted area for storing, maintaining and repairing bicycles, which is equipped with individual security fittings, as well as a selection of basic cleaning and repair tools.
