Part of the H L Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel HL Paradise Island is situated around 1.5km from the Playa Flamingo Beach, in the popular resort of Playa Blanca on the southern coast of Lanzarote.

Built in 1997 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2014, the modern low rise Hotel HL Paradise Island has a total of 290 guest rooms which are built over 2 floors and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a lounge area with additional sofa beds, refrigerator, microwave oven and kettle, a satellite television with music channels, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and a terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes 2 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with a further 2 smaller children's splash pools, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Of special interest to families travelling with children is the "Dino" water park which features a variety of sides and flumes that are carefully designed for parents to relax and rest while children play in a safe environment.

The Hotel HL Paradise Island also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting and archery, as well as evening entertainment in the "Paradise" Bar with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
