Sandos Papagayo Beach Resort - Playa Blanca

Part of the Sandos Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Sandos Papagayo Beach Resort has an enviable front line location overlooking the Playa de las Coloradas bay in the popular resort of Playa Blanca on the southern coast of Lanzarote.

The hotel is approximately 35km south of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote International Airport, and 3km from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 2003, the modern low rise Sandos Papagayo Beach Resort has a total of 488 guest rooms, offering a choice of both Superior Twin and Family Rooms and a further selection of Royal Elite Junior Suites, all of which are built over 3 floors and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking Atlantic Ocean towards the nearby islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or a terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, most of the Junior Suites at the Sandos Papagayo Beach Resort also have a bathroom equipped with a hydro-massage bath and two individual shower stalls, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a choice of both buffet and a la carte restaurants with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes 3 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, along with a further 2 smaller children's splash pools, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
