Part of the prestigious H10 Group of Hotels, the 5 star rated Hotel Rubicon Palace has an enviable front line position overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the quiet La Mulata district of the popular resort of Playa Blanca on the southern coast of Lanzarote.

The hotel is approximately 35km south of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote International Airport, and 2km from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 2001 in the style of a traditional Canarian square, the modern low rise Hotel Rubicon Palace has a total of 584 guest rooms, including 546 twin rooms and a further 38 Junior Suites, which are built over 3 floors and set amidst almost 10,000m2 of sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the nearby islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or a terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, a number of guest rooms at the Hotel Rubicon Palace have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a choice of both buffet and a la carte restaurants, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with WiFi access in selected areas of the hotel, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Rubicon Palace also offers the use of 6 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, seating a maximum of 400 people, all of which are equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of 5 large outdoor swimming pools for adults, along with a further 3 smaller children's splash pools, all of which are then surrounded by spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, along with a multi sports activity area for football and volleyball etc.

Guests staying at the Hotel Rubicon Palace are also offered the opportunity to relax and unwind at the Despacio Thalasso Centre, which features a dynamic pool, seawater river, pebble walk, hydromassage beds, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish Bath and mist water box, along with a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments.

The Hotel H10 Rubicon Palace also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
