The 5 star rated Hotel Volcan Lanzarote has an enviable front line position on a small headland overlooking the Rubicon Marina in the quiet Las Colorades district of the popular resort of Playa Blanca on the southern coast of Lanzarote. The hotel is approximately 35km south of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote International Airport, and 1.5km from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 2001 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2006, the modern low rise Hotel Volcan Lanzarote has a total of 206 guest rooms, which are distributed between 20 four storey annexes that have been designed in the style of a traditional Canarian village, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, bathrobes and slippers, along with a ceiling fan, direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, tea and coffee making facilities, a safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or a terrace with exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.
