Hotel Beatriz Costa and Spa - Costa Teguise

Part of the Beatriz Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel Beatriz Costa and Spa is situated around 900 metres from the Playa de los Charcos beach in a quiet area of the popular resort of Costa Teguise on the eastern coast of Lanzarote.

The hotel is approximately 14km north of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote International Airport, and 1km from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1998, the modern Hotel Beatriz Costa and Spa has a total of 346 guest rooms, including 331 twin rooms and a further 15 Junior Suites, which are built over 6 floors and set amidst almost 20,000m2 of sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a number of rooms have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms at the hotel are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a choice of air conditioned buffet and a la carte restaurants, all with show cooking, offering traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bars, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Beatriz Costa and Spa also offers the use of 10 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, seating a maximum of 1,100 people, all of which are fully equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large 2,000m2 saltwater swimming pool, with separate children's splash pool and exterior Jacuzzi, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, as well as 3 tennis courts, 2 squash courts, paddle-tennis, petanca, archery facilities and a mini-golf course.

For guest who prefer to relax, the Hotel Beatriz Costa and Spa also offers a Spa and Thalassotherapy Centre featuring an INITIVIM hydrothermal circuit which is comprised of dynamic pools with more than 1,000 aquatic effects, including water jets at different heights, waterfalls, swan-neck jets, a jet current exercise pool, micro-bubble beds as well as a pediluvium footbath, spray shower cave, Jacuzzi, sauna, thermal sauna, Turkish bath, tepidarium and ice fountain.

The Spa and Thalassotherapy Centre also has hydro-massage tubs, Vichy showers, pressure jets, thermal showers and the newly installed Flotarium, which is a sensory deprivation flotation tank, enabling guests to float in a pleasant way and to combat stress. Other cosmetic and beauty treatments available to guests include both facial and corporal treatments such as therapeutic massages, wraps and aesthetic treatments.

The Hotel Beatriz Costa and Spa also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
